A lot of states are that way. It was in Kentucky that I had to go around and they told me it was their fault. Illinois likes the really overweight trucks not the rinky dink 200#.
-
Don't fret dude, the worst case is they lock you up, fully disassemble the truck searching for drugs, and leave your company to fly out and re-assemble it. The boss won't mind!
-
Glad I'm not following you through town. I would be a nervous wreck in 15 minutes.
You know what I mean? Traffic lights and 50 mph zones must really confuse some people. -
When they asked you to pull around again, just say no thanks.

The scales on I-77 in NC close to the VA border have (or at least had) signs on the booth that say "Green means GO".
Unless I see the red, I'm easin' on through.... -
my problem was the other way around, i proced onto the platform scale , i had a load of pillows , all feathers, so when the light was red and bring your paperwork in , i just said now what.went inside and she asked why i was in here, the light told me and the signage too, o i fogot too flip it too green , that was the driver ahead you, what you got on pillows, ok when you leave do the bypass then ok , you want too look at my books or something, nope your free to go have a nice day, ok thanks and scooted down the hyway.

but then again most driver see red twice, one too stop and one after they get there over weight of $1567 ticket

You forgot to mention the body cavity search!!!!!!

WTH is that suppose to mean? I post a question asking about a scale procedure since I very rarely must cross them. I've been across a scale where they have you stop with each axle. This appeared to be the same type.
FYI, I'm not confused by traffic lights or speed zones. My remark about slowing down was a joke, comedy. I guess the uber-smart people like you are not able to recognize that. I recall reading a post sometime ago, where you're "nickname" was pointed out to be appropriate for you!!
