That's awesome. And NO! NOT at a scale house. Wait. Does it count if it's happening in the truck at the scale house? LOL.

Ok i dont know what division of the US Marshalls ppl call. My friend James whos been driving tractor/trailer longer than me . Has several bad experiences at some
State scales. He has called several times to deal with unruly scale masters. He has had several fired for missing crane appointments for DOD loads
To military bases. Some of his customers have a lot of pull with state governments. Ive talked to several drivers about marshalls
Dealing with unruly scale masters. I do know that they have certain scales that they are at daily/weekly/monthly/yearly . Where the complaints are off the charts. If you were to ask a us marshall sup/ office boss whos been on the job for more than 20 yrs . They probably have endless stories to
Tell about crazy scale masters. It comes down to where u are in the US too. I do know there several different dept/divi. Inside the marshalls
Offices that deal with mulitple things. From warrants
To protective detail. It al depends how big the office and where

Ive have asked older drivers . Thats how i 1st found about it. It seems drivers who been around the block know more about it. Ive talked to several older drivers who retiring tell of the marshalls dealing with unruly scale masters.

Yep. Drivers who've been around the block know more about the US Marshals than my wife who IS a Deputy Marshal and has been with the USMS for over a decade now.

Oh, and the size of the office doesn't matter, but she's in a big one.

I'm sorry folks have been feeding you bull, but NO, the USMS is not going to arrest or have a scale master fired.

The US marshal story is a story. When you were told the story, did it begin with "You will never believe this?"

To get back on topic, I got a level 2 inspection in Oregon yesterday so I asked the DOT folks there if they ever heard of anything like this. Their answer was of course "we dont know anything about Louisiana laws but never have heard or seen anything like this" They also told me that if they are going to ticket you for something there has to be the RCW listed that it falls under. So just going by this alone she could not give me an RCW for what she was telling me nor could her supervisor.

It's not the handcuffs, but the intense hand to hand combat training she gets that does it for me.:biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514::biggrin_2559: :biggrin_2559:
