Because they are not adjusted properly.KW Parts Guy Thanks this.

They don't, the only people that complain about them tend to be old people that complain about everything. If you've ever owned a vehicle with HID's you'd understand why they're better.

What would u guys think running the jw speaker 8800 as fog lights in a 2012 386? They are the low beam so shouldn't blind anyone once adjusted properly. Or is this just a stupid idea?

You don't get it man, along with most of the posters on here. I've had the 5x7's on my 9400 for 3 years and just put the 4x6's on my W9. The projection is like the profile of a bowl. When a car passes me on the left, I can see the top of the head light line, (it's VERY distinct), just below the windows on their doors. Yes, they are bright, but they don't shine in the eyes of oncoming traffic.
The mistake most people make when they're driving at night is they look directly into the light. Idiots.
These lights are a game changer. No fatigue driving at night. It's like driving with sunlight behind you. They're safer, and much more effective. I put them on my Ford, Harley and my wifes car. They really are that good.
Hell, it should be illegal to use halogen. -
are they just plug and play for a w900 or do you have to do some mods thanks charles

Could you post a manufacturer, model and a website to look up those to fit a KW? Some us older guys are not as tech savvy as the younger ones. It would be much appreciated.

Yes, they are plug n play for any light that's a size match. One of the best places I've found to get them is Bobs Chrome Shop in Lake Station, In. He's fair and has a close relationship with JW Speaker.
Give him a call, he'll hook you up. tel (219) 962-2085
