Is on my E-7 ?
It's having trouble keeping up under heavy use ( spotting ) and I've got a 'lil oil in the primary tank. It's also slow to build psi.
Already put new governor and don't have any major leaks so I'm assuming the comp is headed south? Yes?
What compressor?

Not necessarily. Oil in the tanks does mean the compressor rings are worn, but it could also be the unloader valves/seals. I only say that if money is an issue. I would replace the compressor before you start taking out pot diaphragms and air valve seals.

Really need help...... put in a rebuilt tranny from a first class rebuilder, everything from rear main to carrier bearing is new.......#### thing is noisy in the same speeds and rpm's as the old one but not as bad.
Now I stood there and watched rebuilder dyno my tranny. All 9 gears plus reverse all up to 1500 rpm, no noise....so I think it's my problem and I think the air ride height is not set right.
Last guy to have truck set the air ride to 48" 5th wheel height.
Anybody know how to set it? -
Your ride height measurement is measured from the top center of the axle housing tube to the bottom of the frame rail. The proper measurement (specification) will be specific to your truck, usually in the 6.5-8.5 inch range. Check with your truck brand dealer for the proper spec.
chalupa Thanks this.
