Is this for real? I know there are cars out there now with this technology.

Neat video. But if it was shown in "real time". Then no, it wasn't real.
Just look at the gap between the front and back, then calculate the time and corrections made to facilitate the maneuver.
There's a tremendous amount of editing that went on in this video.Typhoid36 Thanks this. -
I just went to Navistar's website and typed in "auto parallel park" in search, and came up with nothing.

No way in hell.

Another in the great April Fool's Day jokes.
But tell you what, if it "was real", then we give newbies yet another thing to muck up in thier inability to drive, and back up.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
what they don't tell ya is...it can be yours for a whopping $22,348,999.99
You know...they have to pay those engineers, the driver, the truck, the trailer...the cars/trucks/trailers they destroyed in development and all the idiots who were doing nothing but standing around taking notes for the engineers during the tests...lets not forget paying the nice office personal that are handling all the proper paperwork and documentation...the lawyers who are taking care care of copyrighting infringements -
Ha Ha good one Krooser!.. if a Dummy had laser guided parking in Murphreesboro, TN a few years ago he wouldn't have crunched the hood of a parked tractor while he was trying to blindside a 53' trailer

I thought was real.....

You ever buy either a brand new or used car from ANY dealership??
Why do they charge "up to" $150 for documentation fee's and "assorted paperwork", when so much is done on a computer, and a minimum wage person is entering that information??
