1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Tired of those long hauls out west or down south?
Want to be home every day?
Or just looking for a better local job?

If that is the case Land Transportation might be for you. Here at Land Transportation we operate in a 100 mile radius around Philadelphia. We pull out of the rail yards in Philadelphia, Morrisville and sometimes the ports along the Delaware River. We offer a discounted Plate Program, Weekly Detailed Settlement Reports, Steady Year Round Work, Company Paid IFTA Permits, Driver Referral Program ($), and Available Insurance at attractive rates. All we ask is that you have your own truck, 2 years of verifiable CDL Class A experience and must be 23 or older. Hazardous endorsements and Twic Card not needed but good to have.
    Please Call 215-245-4103

I've been with land transport/ evans delivery for some time and they suck. I used to run out of Philly PA. Their pay is low and the wait to load/unload is slow as well. The manager, mike, is as dumb as the donkey. This terminal, out of Philadelphia area, has its own favorites. They give loads to their own people and let others, who is not the "own" circle, run for peanuts. You can try them if you want. However, I would recommend to save about $5-$6k before trying, you'll needed for fuel and maintenance. There is another company, Which I will not mention, is a lot better than Land. A lot better and fairer. STAY AWAY FROM LAND TRANSPORTATION, also known as evans delivery. One more thing, If you want to gross $2k per week and be home everyday, and run about 1500-1800mi than, this might be the company for you.
