Indian River Transport, Co. - Winter Haven, FL.?

Ask the textile workers in the south, that were making 8 or 9 dollars per hour, what happened? "they no LONGER have them"-----I don't believe they were union. Or ask the furniture factories. I wonder why so many non-union trucking companies have closed their doors, they were paying anywhere from 25cpm to 35 cpm and no benefits, I wonder why they are gone?????

Funny unions get the blame for plant closings when there are many more non-union plants shutting their doors.

 

Not blaming the UNIONS for nothing , my post was in response to the previous posting about how GREAT the union can be , just showing the other side of the coinn so to speak. At the CAT plant ( they made engines for rail locomotives ) the members would not take a wage cut , jobs moved to a non union plant in the mid west

 

Deadheading to montezuma in the am, going to TG lee in Orlando, then going on hometime until I tell them otherwise

 

Still makes me laugh that people actually believe the unions give a rat's furry ### about their puppets *ahem* I mean members

 

Dude where do you get this information? Do you mean to tell me that if ups offered you a job at 45 cpm or 23 bucks an hour you would decline the job? Your a very smart guy huh??

(1) Is orientation in WH only, or is it in the terminal where you are supposed to be assigned?

(2) How long is orientation?

 

Would you be a "puppet" like my wife???

Im sure IRT and every other crapy job you and me both for that matter have ever had really cares about its slaves * ahem* I mean employes at lest we have something to show for it $

 

We have orientations in Winter Haven, FL. Clovis, NM. and Turlock, CA.
