If you don't mind posting SHC, what kind of deal are you getting? Bill and my friend Mike were checking these out at MATS. We can get some units and test them out for 90 days, they'll install it, if we don't like it they'll take it back no charge...

    SHC Thanks this.

That's not bad at all. I'm getting mine thru one of their sales reps I know from back when I was at QC. He was the guy who repaired all the cooling systems at DOW. I'm getting the unit for $7,500 installed and I also got a $2,000 grant. So after all it's going to cost me $5,500 out the door. I like the idea of trying it out tho for 90 days.

you getting the shore power ,also?

you will like it. one tip, mark the dipstick when the unit is installed, the mark on the stick is not the fill level. if ya dont get the numbers for the filters air, fuel and oil, pm me and i can give you the numbers for replacements on the factory ones. i do my own service, takes less than an hour to do the entire unit

No shore power as I don't park anywhere that has a hookup, and at home it sits in a heated shop.

Also the price includes a 6,000hr warranty.

So no dealers on line etc for the Dometic commercial units?
I can get the Roughneck for the same price as that Dometic one with heat strip etc. Online prices are normally cheaper for stuff i get so that is where I look first.
I would like to look online for the whole specs of the Dometic unit myself, without the need of going to a dealer etc.
How many BTU is the heat strip for example?
Power requirements for the Dometic one?

Are there any tunnel restrictions when carrying gasoline on a CMV?

Only restrictions I have seen have been for hazmat loads. If you are not a hazmat load, I don't see how it could affect you myself.
If you can legally carry 8 gallons of gas, then you have no other restrictions, thus no hazmat required.

Not that I'm aware of. Like I said, I'm not having the shore power option installed, but I'm still getting the grant. Also, I had to call my state to get help in locating grant funds. Dynasys no longer has any.
