This post is going to be a test to try a suggestion made by MACK E6. Let's see if I can do it,.........................
Are you saying that you're gonna be out of work if the Mexican Big truck drivers are allowed to cross the southern border headin' north?
How can "we" stop that?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WoW!
Hey MACK!
You were RIGHT!
It worked just like you SAID it would.
I DID it!
I'll tell y'all,.................. what other Big trucking web site would be able to teach THIS old dawg a new computer trick?
THANX MACK!!
I'm a retired trucker, who now works in a manufacturing plant. Theses trucks moving freely here are going to be the cost saving fast track to the extinction of the rest of the manufacturing sector. My company already builds in Mexico and will eventually move all operations south of the border, and sell them north of the border! The loss of manufacturing jobs also leads to a decline in available loads in NA. They (the manufacturers) are putting us out of work and will continue to force current U.S. drivers to work for the rates they (the Mexicans nationals) can drive for because they have a currency exchange advantage! Not to mention they don't pay what we do for fuel. How exactly to Americans compete with that and maintain a route and household in the U.S.?
Just in time freight just got late.
WHO'S in control then?
I think this whole NAFTA thing needs to be revisited.
And at LEAST closely monitored in more ways than one.
Confucius says when a man is ignorant, just because others agree does not change the fact that they are all ignorant! You guys school of thought is going to make it easy going for the further decline of the trucking industry! who cares what permits you need, he is a Mexican national and will adversely effect the rates. I more directly will be affected by globalization then any of you if you care to know, it must be stopped before we're all out of work!Click to expand...
Holding dual-citizenship is NOT "unlawful" as you stated earlier, not in this country, anyway.
Again: if you have a problem with "Mexican Cross Border truckers", you need to address it in THAT forum/thread. THIS thread pertains to a question from an American who wants to "truck" into Mexico.
Canadians coming across the border in "Cross-Border" trucking hasn't hurt the American Trucking industry, like "they" said it would, so I doubt Mexican Truckers will either. -
We find that funny considering she is a Socal servant and all. You guy's from up north dont get it and never will until you have to deal with it. I still cant understand how it is that you cant get why some folks get so upset when any U.S./Mex work issue comes up. You would have to go out of your way not to. I will give you the fact that illeagle is not an issue here But the orignal poster was rubbing it in and I think..................................................... From my Family's experiance in this country you cannot be a duel citizen. At some point you either are or are not. Remember this is not the U.K., Canada, or any other country. The poster most likly Married an American and now thinks he is an American.Click to expand...
It all boils down to this in a nutshell. Nothing more, nothing less.
What part of ILLEGAL don't you understand.
I do not care what country you come from if you are here LEGALLY, abide by the laws of the USA, and in public assimilate. You can talk what ever language, and live what ever culture you want in your own home. In public and in the work place we speak ENGLISH here in the USA. Get used to it or move on. This is a huge crock of BS that we have to press one for English nonsense. -
