No worries. Most people call them truck rather than tractor. Either is ok.

 

I did an online app for Roels cdl training can anyone tell me how quickly the recruters respond.I contacted a local school and sent them all the paper work they wanted but they really seem to be dragging there feet and i have to pay up front for there school.

 

Thank you guys now I will see which recruter gets backto me first but if I can avoid having to pay for school up front I will.

 

newberik, Kim got back to me pretty quick, as well. She's NEVER been "pushy", and she's done her best to answer my questions honestly (I've checked her answers against the ones I get from other people, they all jive). The initial hiring process can take a little bit...the clinic I reported to for the DOT physical lost some of the paperwork for a day or so, but it's all good now.

I managed to get to the hotel BEFORE 3pm, and was told they're not "THAT" strict on the 3pm check-in, so I got my room. Not bad...older hotel but clean, from what I've seen so far. I briefly met Cancer0925 as we both checked in at almost the same time. Good deal so far!

the rooms are around the back and up the stairs. I think they're afraid we won't get ANY exercise if we don't do stairs.

 

I think there's a law against posting on here while you drive...hmmmm...
Well, stairs beat NOTHIN'. And lemme tell ya...with all the crap I hauled along for the ride, the trips up and down the stairs have been adding up! Maybe I'll have some custard over at Culver's...that's one thing I DIDN'T bring along!!
