Really?? :biggrin_2556: I wear hearing aids, and while I do have my long form stuffed in the little pocket of my logbook, I'm not required to do so. More importantly I must carry a supply of batteries.

I little O.T. for the thread but on the subject of hearing-aids, they are harder on your hearing in a noisy environment. If you don't turn them down or off. It's like putting a mic up to the loud noise and the speakers from that mic in your ears. When you complain about your truck being loud, it is many times louder with hearing-aids. Then there's wind noise. Ever hear wind blowing across a mic, say at an outdoor concert, or from a reporter that doesn't have a windsock on the mic? That's about all ya' hear with them. I do have a "T" (telephone) position on mine. Switching to that mode eliminates the wind so I can hear fine. There's times driving down the road, I'll switch them to that just to muffle the loud engine noises.

    Sorry going off topic...

I put some polar fleece over the pickup on my walker game ears. I agree with you though.

In a noisy environment, you are just better off turning them off and using them as ear plugs.

I notice my tinnitus is much worse this last month too.

Follow their rules or pay the penalty. Nobody is asking you to agree or like the rules. The state or Feds don't ask you to make up an alternative method of compliance.

The rules are the rules, read and follow the rules.

^^^ A goody goody who does everything there told to do by the gov. This is the problem now a days. The main reason all this bs happens because not enough people disagree or stand up for what they think is right or wrong and just go along with the new rules and BS.
