We skipped a whole road on our route description on a Maryland permit the other day. Delaware is very strict about dictating the route.

My only fear is the whole "permit" "super permit" in Delaware. tried to get some clarification but no luck. Two of the machines I haul bring the gross to 84,000 and 93,000. The DE permits go from 80,000 to I think 120,000 for the super. I have been luck, never been weighed by DOT.

Some states want the DRIVER to be responsible for his route, that is why they want red ink (if it was faxed to the truck stop it will probably be black ink).
I have been routing OS/OW in 11 western for 15 years, if anyone has a west coast question, message me. I have never ordered a permit east of Indiana but Im on a first name basis with CA, AZ, UT, NV and the nearly impossible NEW MEXICO!

Georgia (and I think Nevada) requires you to have an annual permit (Ga is $2.00) to have amber strobes / rotating lights mounted on your tractor. NY has a specific size for amber lights, not less than 5 inches, no more than 9 and they are supposed to be mounted on the roof.
