USX drivers...how's your day??

morning all, had to get up early 4:30am to get in the Menards store @ 5am, next run is picking up Morrison IL > Ottawa KS, walmart load. del for tomorrow dnh.

Still haven't made it home yet. Am now getting unloaded in Charlotte. Then have to p/u and head to Jacksonville, which is still 300 miles from my house.

 

It's pretty tough getting to south Florida without a reefer but they'll get you home that's one of the things Usx is good for I never had trouble with hometime

 

As a solo I NEVER had a problem getting home like this. I usually delivered to the Ikea store in Sunrise which is about 30 minutes from my house. Since going team they always send us to Orlando.

My last company always had runs to Miami with Con-way, Fedex, UPS or DB Schenker.

The run to Jax was cancelled because the cons I was at took way too long to unload. They sent us to Alabama instead. Still no run home. I'm definitely taking off an extra day now...LOL

 

And they say USX cares about the backbone of the company?

4 am delivery...we were on time....consignee wasn't. 9 and a half hours later we are escaping New Jersey. Lost our load to Chattanooga for today but got the same run for tomorrow. Cannot wait to see the grandkids.

 

We waited 16 hours to get loaded in CA. last week. Hope to get paid for the time.

 

We will get detention pay plus a day of layover
