Epes transport 2012

I spoke to them last yr.. There was no school reimbursement. I was planning to go to cdl school, but had a family sickness..... I tried emailing the person in recruting , but my note came back i assume he's not there.. Can u advise who to ask for? I have heard nothing , but good things....do u know if i could live in knoxville. Tn...?

I have zero issues with accidents, speeding failed rx test etc... I'm a newbee, have spoken with several of the "big boys" . But dont want to b tied dwn w/ a contract with them... Thanks& i look fwd to ur reply. I need 5 more posts b for i can "pm" u...........

what kind of miles are you averaging?

 

have u talked to any one @ Epes about going to work for them & if so who did u speak with. i like them as well , but would like anothers info if u have made contact.

I drove for epes for a year in 06 / 07. I was home every weekend and averages 2400 miles. For some they say that's not many but remember your home every weekend. The Only reason I stopped driving for them My wife got a job in Oklahoma working as a computer guru for the state and Epes does not have drivers west of the Mississippi river. If Epes wiould hire in Oklahoma I'd sign back up in a sec.

 

You might ought to look into Texas Star Express, Epes bought them out a couple of years ago and probably run around the Oklahoma area.

I spoke with a recruiter and sent the required paperwork and even called and left msg's. Over a month and no return call, not even to tell me they dont want me. Everyone talks good about the company but this isnt a good sign.
