Just got a set of glasses the other day. I passed my medical fine without glasses last year, and I passed the DMV test without them. Do I need to notify the DMV or anybody that I have glasses now?

If you passed your DOT phys and DMV eye test I would think you'd need the glasses restriction. Does it say it on the back?

No you dont need to notify them, when you renew your licence they will eye test you and then you get a glasses restriction.

I was always told try to do it without glasses so you dont HAVE to wear them all the time even if you have to.

I've had prescription glasses for 40 years and can pass the test without them so I have no restriction. The trick is to memorize all 6 lines on the 3 charts lol

I wear glasses as well, but I could pass the DMV test without them so there is no restriction on my license.

I use them mainly for reading, and night driving.
In daylight, when I try to do most of my driving, I can see very well.
