Im not impressed with TQL. They pay very slow, and I even had to chase a payment/load that they somehow lost in their system.

They've flat out lied to me more than once. It would seem their company brokers hoard loads from each other.

I even had one that wouldn't give me a pickup address until 1 hour before my appointment time.

Im not going to call their customer service and discuss as suggested above. I just dont haul their stuff anymore.

Made a deal to pick up a load the next day. The next day got into the city to pick up the load and called TQL to get an address. The load was "not taking that shippment" that day.
Why is it that this company won't give you an address, and all of the time the shippment is in another city than posted?

I thought I was picking up rolls of fence, come to find out it was bricks.
Later that week also moved a shippment that was supposed to be 1 machine, it turned out to be a whole 48 foot trailer load of machines.
TQL is the most misleading company out there!

If I had to guess, the reason why TQL won't post the city the shippment is really in, is because small towns that may only have 1 plant or warehouse, will give away to the truck driver what the freight is.
If you go to Bucktown and the only thing in the town is a lumber yard that takes 2 hours to load or unload you then you'll never go to that shipper again.

I had this similar problem before too but I do not take a TQL load without the address sheet when I sign the rate. Most agents comply though they state it is against company policy. I have cancelled loads on them if they don't give me the load sheet, I simply tell them "you want to dispatch a truck, go buy one, untill then I dispatch my trucks". They can put whatever they want in my "file" and I am certain their is some points in their about dealing with me, I am not sweet on the phone when it comes to business, I get what I want or I leave it, thats my job as a company owner. And watch out for te favor to take a load to someplace dead and they will get you a load out... I had one make that promise, I told him he had to have me an acceptable return load before my truck was loaded, my truck was in line to be loaded next at a shipper and he said he can't promise that, BUT thats not what he said when he promised me that to take the load (It paid OK for the distance but was going where it was a hit or miss to get out) and I pulled the truck from him. He #####ed but again, I said you asked a favor and favors are done with the mutual agreement they wil be repaid, in this current industry I have piles of favors that have yet to be returned so now I get it in writing up front or I walk away, even if it ticks them off. Just remember they need us more than we need them and it will stay that way until they start buying their own fleet of trucks.

How about the fact that you guys never accurately post where the loads p/u or drop?
Example...I have p/u several loads for you from Fontana and on the boards it always shows Los Angeles...About 60 miles difference.....
I have also called about loads dropping in say Denver when the actual drop was in Sterling, CO....That's over 100 miles away....

Now....I happen to know what some of those loads are...Most of them are on the same rotation cycles...Like felt Paper posted as "Los Angeles To Denver" is 99% of the time from Fontana paper to any one of ABC's yards in the Denver metro area....But many O/O's don't know the commodities.....

You expect us to be forthright...So how about being forthright with us too?

Post the actual info on the boards.....Our Carrier info is out there for you and everyone else to see who we really are....So how about it TQL?

Well I have talked to people at TQL a couple times and was told the practice of posting the same load over a dozen times with different pu/drop locations was out of your control. It seems to be a taught and endorsed practice. This seem like SOP for your company.
