90/hr
Seem's fair enough to me. -
I would love 1.3 million a year also
-
$90 / hour is probably a good rate, maybe a little less than you should quote. Keep in mind that you'll need an extra truck in reserve to cover for maintenance or breakdowns, and staffing will be a headache for sure.
-
That's what my bosses tri-axles made per hour hauling water for gas wells around here.
Maybe you could try like 75/hr...?
seems crazy to me to run for anything less than 75, heck your going to have to pay your drivers part of that...
For the record I'm just a steering wheel holder newbie...not an o/o... -
So if you have no freakin idea why even atempt to answer the question in the first place?

Can you provide a little more detail, how many miles are you driving, is there any dock work involved, are you using your own trailer, weight, load and unload windows, etc...
Be reasonable when you go to give them your quote, if you are allready doing loads for them then you know about the wheelhouse they will stay in, sounds like a good deal -
It is billing 288 hours per week. I would only do it with new leased trucks. There is no real miles probably about 1000 per week amongst all hours.
-
Well I don't know what it is but some quick math I would say at around $65 an hour you can probally profit around $90,000 a year but I don't know what your business plan is
-
If I were you, before I sold myself short at $65 or $75 an hour quote, I'd be trying to find out what the going rate per hour is in your area...
-
I'm with rollin coal. Where I'm at in the patch I ge 125 an hour for jus a truck and trailer and upwards of 180 for my winch trucks. I wouldn't leave the couch for 65 an hour but my area can support higher wages. I would definitely do some research into what the going rate is.
rollin coal Thanks this.
