No company can force a driver to violate the hos rules. It is a decision that each driver makes as to whether he will run compliant or not. Most carriers will terminate any driver who continually violates the hos. The costs are much too great for the carrier.

 

Compliance to the final HOS rule is not required until July of next year. Chill

I clicked this thread to see what rules went into effect already since I wasn't aware of any. I know the reset change doesn't happen till next year, I thought the half hour break rule started in June. Is there something I'm missing? My company is a stickler for the rules and they haven't made any changes either.

 

Why is the OP yelling at us, why does he feel the need to repeat the name of the company and owner over and over,? Is he some kind of control freak or does he think were all so stupid that he has to repeat his loud statement, I think we all know what to do when the time comes and don't need it yelled in my ears.
