Good day today, loaded a coil out of USS Great Lakes. That place is a real zoo. I had half fuel when load then went to the pilot before the scales and took on as much as I thought I could hold. Then weighed, 79980 and axles were good. Got into Red Bud IL and unloaded. Also took a shower along the way somewhere.

does the ladder scratch the glass or does it have something to protect it. cant tell by the photos. if the glass gets damaged in transit, is the driver responsible for it?

I went past the exit for Carbondale, PA today on 81. I feel your frustration but get used to it. That's trucking, things constantly change and you have to adapt. If you can't you will not make it.

The ladder could scratch the glass so you always but something between it and the glass. Some are wrapped with a towel or cardboard. The glass is the drivers responsibility until it is unloaded. You have to protect it from scratches, chips, breakage and it can't get wet.
