May Trucking Home Time Question?

Does May reimburse you if you pay to park somewhere like this?

My mom lives in Reno. She has an area where I could park the truck on her property if I wanted to do home time there. I don't get to see her much so that would be good.

May runs all 48 but they don't have places to park the truck in Ga without me having to pay some place to park the truck? What gives?

 

Did u know that before u got hired? Didn't they ask where u would be parking their $100k plus equipment

 

I have not applied yet. Still asking questions about companies. I guess I have sort of an issue with the fact that they won't reimburse you for making sure their truck is safe.

True, I am responsible for the truck when driving, but I don't think paying a baby sitter should come out of my pocket when on home time. It's kind of like getting dinged twice.

 

Well, ask em I'm sure they'll give u a place to park for free

 

I will give them a call. I am probably worrying about nothing.

 

Let us know, I agree I should not be charged to babysit when I am on off time.
