ok update, few months later, it seems to be really fixed this time.
have a list of what they did. So even though they did some things I think it was the terminal ends on ecr.
heres there list.
ecr terminal end broken, installed new terminal end, erased codes, test drove
2 codes came back, found another broken terminal end for boost pressure, replaced terminal end, erased codes, test drove
code comes on for vnt vones, not responding
hooked up laptop and removed ecm wiring ohm's at wire for ohm, out wires for vpod ok
hooked up test ecm to verify bad v-pod, installed new vpod, test ok, hooked up ecm or ecr? clear codes, test drove
Cost $1454
After all that, truck has been running great for over a week.
So do you think it was all those things? Or which one of them do you think was what went wrong with it?
Anyway I wanted to post this, so if there is someone else out there with the same symptoms they may not have to go thru all the time off work or expense we had to go thru to figure out what the actual fix is.
Thanks to everyone who posted, we still arent sure what the actual fix was, what do you think?
