Are u going to become an O/O ?
Schneider has put on many O/O, and lease drivers.
There getting the high pay freight, company drivers get short hauls and stay in regional lanes for long periods at a time.
If your planning to work for them, don't plan on making it a career, but to gain experience to move on to some place else.
Green Bay has control of everything, and when the dispatcher you work under sets you up for your assignments, for the weekend or that evening, they will come in and take loads away, to give to another driver.
I've had loads taken away before I've gotten to the pickup.
I've picked up loads that were assigned to me then got a call from operations, and was told "that load was for a team, & you have to return it to where you got it".
I've also had another driver show up at my pick up early and took my load when I was on time for the "live load appointment".
They advertise "big salary", but at 36 cpm starting ?
It's not going to happen, never saw the signing bonus.
    But think about this...?
When a carrier has to pay you a bonus to come to work for them, what does that say for whom your about to go to work for ?
I put in for vacation 2 1/2 weeks in advance, told it was all set.
Didn't get my vacation pay before or after my vacation.
Was told "I sent a message to payroll bout your vacation".
Everything is a message at Schneider, nobody wants to talk on the telephone, this was about my vacation pay.
I hauled for them 17 months, I've quit and moved on to something else.
You'll have more bad weeks then good ones working for them.
The navigation they use needs updates, it will send you down residential streets, no where near your pick up or delivery.
Doesn't have the current information when companies have merged, or changed names, (those changes happened yrs. ago)
I'll stop right here I could go on with more but I hope you get my drift..! It's Your Call..!
    Happy Trails..!

I just started at SNI, as in I just finished the training less than a week ago. The training is really good, and will start out tomorrow with temp team driver. Was supposed to team drive with a lady I went to school with but she couldn't get in and I couldn't afford to wait til we found a company that would take both of us. If I had known she couldn't get in before I applied, I wouldn't have applied for team driving, as once you're team you can't get out of it for 6 months. Sorry I don't have any more experience with them than that to share with you, but I can tell you that there were 3 students in my training class that started out with and came from another company, and 4 other students that started at Schneider, went somewhere else, and came back.
