I just registered and got an email from the lady of the house. She said to stop in here and say hi so I figured I'd do just that ...
" hi ! "
I'm considering getting a CDL so I'll be going about the threads and making some posts and such. Looking forward to a nice stay.

Hey Tomana,If you do get your CDL,go OTR,and are UNLUCKY enough to go to the Northeast(you will) you will appreciate where you live. I went through Albuquerque yesterday and thought to myself: Is there a better Region to run in this Country than the Southwest? MY answer......Nope.

LOL just saw your avatar. I've been on bicycle for the past year and I'm ok at balancing stuff but that guy got me beat by a long shot.Last edited: May 5, 2012

Hey ! I'm new here, also. I visited another forum and, wow, such hostility ! Soooo, I'm hoping this one will provide me with some useful info, and advice. I want to get my CDL and drive, drive, drive. However, the prospect is a little scary. I'm no spring chicken (48). I've driven vehicles with manual transmission (actually prefer them), but a 10 speed seems like it will be WAY more complicated. Any input?
