Perfect People who make no mistakes are unpatriotic.
Consider the amount of American jobs that rely on people making mistakes.
Wrecker drivers, body and paint shops, the folks who manufacture replacement bosy parts.
How about the people who make "White-out" or erasers and stuff.
Heck, even the Police, Doctors and H&R Block.
(Lawyers and politicians don't count 'cause they's a closed loop; they feed off themselves)
The list is endless.
So when you F-up you are just doing your Patriotic Duty and keeping fellow Americans working. Be proud, get up and take a bow.
(Insert Patriotic Music here) So stand up America. Trip over your own feet. Get out there and screw up!!! (insert vid of failed fireworks).
In short, lighten up and smile. The world ain't gonna end. Not unless you push this botton here.... no, THIS button..... Oooops.![]()

I agree....And I did my part....I messed up once.
Giggles the Original Thanks this. -
Sounds logical to me

Now, finally, I have validation for my life.

If you aren't making mistakes, your not living OR learning.
Thank You Kittyfoot. -
If you dont make one boneheaded mistake a week your depriving good people of something to laugh at.
-
You do recognize that the same can be said of crime?

There's good money to be made fixing people's mistakes. Unless you're in trucking.... then you end up losing money when others make mistakes, even wehn you're the one fixing said mistake!
Wrecks on the road you're travelling, bad shipping/receiving scheduling, improperly repaired trucks/trailers, broken equipment that takes several weeks and 7 different shops around the country to fix under warranty.... someone makes some coin and gains job security over all these people's screw ups, but it's not the driver. Ask me how I know.

According to your FM and safety department all humans are supposed to be perfect, never make mistakes, knows everything without experience, and never have any questions. If you do not live up to their level of perfection it is a huge shock and disappointment. "OMG it is your first day driving in your life and you don't know how to blindside alley dock on a hill on ice at night with not enough space and no one else around to spot what's wrong with you????" - response of the boss.
