So long as this deal works out we'll see... Just curiosity is all, that thing is just huge, almost like the big turbo in a set of twins...
Second question, how much boost is too much boost for a stock 3406B??
I'm looking forward to pickin this thing up and "tweeking" the engine...![]()

I don't think there is such a thing as to much boost as long as the turbo will handle it...? I've gotten 32-34 out of a stock turbo in perfect conditions.

Too much boost is when those silicone convoluted hoses that connect the intake tubing blow!

The A/R ratio between a stock 425B turbo and the C-16 turbo are very close to each other, the C-16 is slightly bigger. The C-16 turbo will have a slightly smaller diameter turbine wheel. So the difference on the exhaust side are nil. The intake side should have a more efficient designed compressor wheel on the C-16 turbo for a faster responding turbo with higher air flow

that will scare the living #### outta you too!!!

hehehe sweet..... So at what pressure should I worry about a head gasket? I ask just cause im familiar with the lil ol 5.9 Cummins' that start needing specialized parts (head studs, "fire rings" ect.) to contain boost pressures of 40 psi plus.
Dont wanna toss a head gasket or lift a head ya know...
And i guess what pressure is a stock intercooler pipe boot and intercooler good to?
She gotta be a good RELIABLE workin animal not just an animal! lol -
Nah to much Turbo Boost is when your going Up a hill and the Cop in the car Besides you gets on the Radio and goes you running a J57 in that thing. Or you look at your Boost gauge that goes to 50Lbs and it is bent around to ZERO.
