They should start getting them in the next couple of weeks from what they said, also the tanker division is getting larger tankers with the same system on the front axle.

I dont see why tanker needs to lift the front axle... We however do need that ability. I want one of those trailers so very badly.

Again they said it was to improve fuel mileage and save on the tires, same as the flatbeds.

They have tandems... They dont slide theyre tires like we do. Like the coils I just dropped. Every turn I made the tire was bending under the trailer.

Right, but the guy said that due to the extra capacity that the new tankers will have they will come with spread axles like the flatbeds.

They are purchaseing 300 flatbeds/stepdecks, and 100 new tankers with 7250 gallon capacity, this is starting now and will continue through the end of the year. P. Higgins from fleet maintenance is talking about it. They are also lowering the rearend gearing to 3.08 in the tractors too to increase fuel mileage as well.

Good then we can throw the P series trailers into the junk heap where they belong. Dont know about the lowering of the gears. I need some power to pull my loads.

Yeah, he is talking about chugging along in tenth on flat ground and then downshifting to 9 for inclines, never going above 1100 rpm. Also I like the load of coils looks good.
