Jesus, after reading these posts about fueling I'm going to print them out and give a copy to all of my drivers, just so they know how good they have it.

They all have a Pilot/J open account card that they can fuel whenever they have to, and IF they get into a situation they can also get fuel at stop that accepts TCH.

These big companies waste more money on company policy and bad choices, somebody in those outfits HAS to look at the big picture.

I can relate to truck breakdowns thou, it is ridiculous. Sometimes I have to pay two or three times to get the same problem fixed on the same truck.

There are #### few REAL mechanics out there anymore, either that or they just can't get training fast enough to keep up with the frequenecy that these trucks are breaking.

Platinum, they aren't drivers, they work at and on a drilling platform.

Yes the amount of time driving out of route frequency of fuel stops and severly governed trucks restricts rpm and air to the motor. What do we know we are just drivers. I can tell you this, if this was 1960 I could start any business I enjoy and be successful. Todays economy and rules and regulations and double standards do not allow with all the cut throat companies out these days. They spend more money to save a nickle and screw the driver with out of route miles and I sat at a shipper 14 hours to get loaded. I lost a whole day of driving due to that. Getting stuck where there are no facilities for showers and food also become a factor, not often but does happen.

i usually get authorized for 12 gal of def. today i stopped for fuel, and I don't have one of those little blue magnet things that goes around the def nozzle so you can pump it into the jugs, so I had to flip that truck around and go into the fuel island backwards, good thing the place wasn't too busy, but when I got back into it, the pump had timed out, so had to get authorization again. then the #### pump was acting all stupid and would keep saying 'remove nozzle' when I already had it out and the pump pulled out in the on position. sat there for like an hour between getting authorization and trying to get the pump to work cause I knew i wasn't going to have a chance at getting into another pump the way I was facing. then after all that the pump closed me out again when I finished with def, didnt even get my reefer fuel I was like screw this by the time I got back on the road it had been like an hour and a half
