Welcome to the recruiters way of work... of course they will say how "good they are" etc.
All they trying to do is get more drivers so they (the company) can take more loads, and earn more coin.
Did you tell them about why you have had so many jobs in X amount of years?
It's like double checking yourself; checking the dots, and crossing the t's, just let them know off the bat, don't ever think they will do a full check up in the 24hours (or less) before bringing you in.
Trucking for over 23 years, so your older then 40, don't know how recruiters work, and with your punctuation skills, that to should say something about you.
But we all make mistakes, and have fun looking for another job; I hear its hard job finding a job in the states.

mje, Lonesome and Milr72 Thank this.

I do work for them...I am, overall happy with PTL... But I am on the dedicated run.
If they said you had too many jobs. Then how many did you have?
When I went through orientation back last winter there was a guy that had 7 jobs last year... Man!Did you beat his record or something?
    Just wondering.
As far as the GreyDog ride...They do give you the option to bring your own vehicle & pay you for that also.
Never take the bus...Hell who knows when or if you get pissed & leave. Always have a little bit of $$ for some gas home.

Also I have been driving for a while now... But they had what I wanted... A dedicated out of my city & decent home time for me, as in.. I can get home once a week or so without cutting to my days off... I am lucky that I can show being out for 4-5 weeks without a day off then take 5 days off in a row.

    mje Thanks this.

I hate it when people post like this.
Put a little effort into the English language!
It makes me think, I'm not surprised you had a negative experience.
It makes me think, you probably have a lot of negative experiences in life, in general...just sayin
It makes me think, your loss is their gain.

Well he did say he had a sketchy work history. So probably was jazzed when they pulled a Bob Barker and said, come on down.

This is just another driver who did not pass the safety dept checklist.
They don't check before you get there because a lot can happen between the time you fill out a application and show up at orientation. And they are not going to pay someone to do all the checking and then have you call up and say I decided to go with someone else.

No they wait till your butt is on site and check.

I have never been turned down at a orientation because I have done a few and know what they want to get hired. You should know if your hireable if you have been driving for that long. And should not be pissed because you got shown the door when you knew you where trying to fly under the radar.

I hate it when wannabe trucker English professors snivel like they misplaced their corndog. So whatya gonna do? just sayin.:biggrin_255:

Then came on a public forum admitting you weren't good enough for PTL ? :biggrin_25513:
I saw one of their drivers show up at an Arkema chemical plant yesterday wearing shorts , Tshirt and tennis shoes . Obviously his first (and last ?) Time there .
