Am I the only truck driver in America that doesn't smoke?

Tobacco is natural, of course, and I actually like the smell of tobacco. I picked up at a warehouse full of it recently, and I hated to leave

 

Well me for one,I don't even own a doo-rag lol.
Do I have a leather jacket? well yes I do but it's just traditional riding gear that's been used for 100 years and mine's 30 years old.
It's not a fashion statement,that said I'd feel a little silly wearing a Kawasaki green balistic nylon power ranger racing suit on my Harley lol.

So if we H-D riders are all the same and so worried about how we look which one here has got it right?
I really need to know so I can fit in lolz!

I'm so worried about the way I look and that I may have been doing it all wrong for the last 30 years.

As soon as I know for sure I'll get on down to the Dealer and buy all the right stuff to wear so I can be cool and look like I'm supposed to.
Do I have to take up smoking too? I do drive a truck as well.

 

I can only hope you live in t-shirts, flannel, and blue jeans. You're not a real truck driver if you don't dress like one...

Heh...as a mater of fact,I was even married in a t-shirt,flannel and jeans lol.
No church wed'n for me,we got hitched by the justice-O-the peace at a campground on the Pacific Ocean beach at Ilwaco,WA.

My husband doesn't smoke either. I quit a few years ago as well. He is the one who really encouraged me to quit.

 

I never smoked, never wanted to and never will.

 

In Iowa, no smoking in any restaurant, bar, grocery store, or any public building. The hospitals also do not allow smoking outside on their property, or have it marked off where you can smoke outside. Some have smoking huts for their employees.

When I drove into SD and MO, and sat down in the restaurants I immediately noticed the smoke in the air...you can't really keep all the smoke in one section in a restaurant. The smoke/gases will move to fill the whole room, as required by the laws of physics, that we learned in high school.

Smoke can give me a headache, so I am aware of its presence.

I will not buy a used car that was driven by a smoker. Now studies are showing that the smoke gets into the upholstry and outgases to the occupants even after no has smoked in the car for years.

I am surprised that there is not an FMSCA rule prohibiting smoking while driving a cmv.

Do most of the big trucking companies prohibit smoking in their trucks?
