Driver #1 Hand him a wrench and tell him if he relieves the pressure and removes spring you'll just give him a warning and let him go.

Driver #2 Well I dont know can you right someone up for ignorance?? I guess it ain't illegal or Johnny Cochran, Al Sharpton, and Jessie Jackson would be serving hard time.

Would you furnish the caging pin to for driver #1 too?
The newer chambers are only serviceable on the service side. Only older ones can you remove the emergency side diaprham and spring.

    Run at night.

I've seen hoppers hold MANY MANY more lbs at 12 midnight to 2 am than what they hold in daylight hours.
And I'm not talking mere hundreds.

Not that I'd ever do some thing like that. :biggrin_25513:

Nope Darwinism in action gets my vote even if it needs a gentle suggestion from time to time.

Csa scores are for the company and they do get points. The driver does not. But it does put a bullseye on you if you start accumulating over weights. The question becomes, what other regs are you willing to violate?

    http://csa.fmcsa.dot.gov/FAQs.aspx

People I'm begging you quit asking what the rules are and start reading what they are.

As for overweight go to that link and scroll to question/answer 5.

Overweights are excluded from basics scores for now.

    Good God people!!!

    Put the cell phones down!

Just called a guy in to talk with him about his trailer not having brake lights. He comes in yammering on his cell phone (blue tooth earbug - yelling loudly). I try to ignore the noise and continue weighing trucks and let him finish his conversation. Trying to be polite and not interrupt his conversation.

He does not finish his phone conversation, but gets irked at me for ignoring him. I politely ask him to step outside and finish his phone call, then step back inside and I will talk to him.

Oh, my! The things he called me to whoever was on the other end of the phone.

Here I am trying to help a guy by letting him know he needs to plug his pigtail back in, and I get a full ration of #### for interrupting his phone call. He was not talking about anything that sounded like an emergency situation.

We need phone booths again. Or maybe patience and manners.

Manners??? in this cultural cesspool? Would be nice, I think it would go along with world peace.

Maybe this is why I didnt cut it as a driver, I was too polite.
