Met a guy who's getting a CDL now. Released from the federal pen last fall after doing 8 years for armed bank robbery, house arrest now and then will have five years parole. Can't imagine a trucking company would hire him to drive a trailer full of valuables for a client. He says CR England indicates after your felony is 7 years old your good to go. But, wonder if that includes someone with an armed bank robbery conviction? Hmmmm.

Jarhed1964, dog-c, aiwiron and 16 others Thank this. -
I'm not sure he's qualified for that. He didn't mention any experience with interns in a back closet during the heist.

Funny how ex-cons seem to gravitate towards trucking.
grusco Thanks this. -
Is this the gentleman who sports the ankle bracelet?
-
The question is when does that 7 years start? From the date of conviction?
-
Funny how they are accepted.
-
Tell him try Brinks or Wells Fargo.

-
Good one, lol.
-
Well the ex-con would be used to confined spaces, standing in lines, waiting, poor diet, lack of exercise, etc.
Dang, prison life is a lot like trucking, when you think about it.
