Got my first step deck this evening out of Tamko. Only had it from there to the yard, but it was different. Been since September 2011 since I pulled a 53' trailer. Feels odd going so long with a 48' then switching back to a 53'. Enjoyed it. Im ask my FM if he deals a lot with those trailers, if the possibility of many more come, Im buy another cheater bar. Those wenches are really close to the ground.

Craziest thing happened today, I just merged onto I-76 in OH, got maybe a half a mile down the road and out of nowhere a light post in the center median fell over and smashed into the hammer lane. Thank god nobody was under it, I was in the slow lane, so didn't bother me.

Posts can be edited by users for 24 hours, unless there is a problem with the site. Users can't delete their own posts but can edit them to no meaning, or ask a moderator to help them which is what happened here after the 24 hour window has passed.

I'd appreciate anyone encountering a post they question to report it instead of quoting it, that makes less mess for us to clean up.

There is at least one of them that has ratcheting winches on one side. They are really nice. Hope they pass the test so we can see more of them.

Well I asked my FM about the stepdecks. He said he sees them some. Im buy me another bar, either shorter a racheting one so I can secure easier. If I can get out of here in time, theres several good loads on the yard. Hoping for something interesting. Also getting my tarps fixed/replaced while Im here.

Noticed the top deck only has 1 wench on either side, dont like that. Need to have a few more up there. Hopfully the new trailers have a better setup than the current ones. Well see whats out there when I get ready to leave out.
