The last trainee I picked up was from sacremento but they sent him all the way to
Irving for orientation.he got his first load today so good for him.
I'm picking up in the morning in everett wa heading to phoenix on a 5 stopper
    Finals on Tuesday.
Got a message if I wanted to take a newbie out.I could stop by colton over the
    Weekend.
Just wondered if I had to get back east first to a term that was still taking guys
And gals fresh out of trucking school.

well jwp1 we start our orientation on monday and if we make it passed orientation witch we both know we might. my fiance and i are both fresh out of truck school as of april 13th and we both are not picky at all about a trainer. we are both just ready to do whatever it takes to make money.. if your hear in colton on wednesday we'll be ready to roll. if you dont have a problem with a 24 year old female smoker you can take her first and i could find someone else..

Glad to see you have the right attitude.I take it you will be teaming
With your fiance.once you get things figured out it may suprise you
How much money you will make.48c split if I am not mistaken.pretty
Good.lots and lots and lots of experienced drivers don't make that.
Not sure where I will be by Wednesday.have to see which way the wind
Blows.don't be to impatient getting through orientation,it may be Friday
Before you get out.try and absorb as much as you can and study it.
It's taught for a reaon.it will all make sense when you get out here.
Time to turn your cdl in $$$$$:

oh not impatient just excited.. yeah they said that after we finish orientation we go do our 120hrs of training then if were lucky we can do our 8 weeks of training together depending on if our trainers get us finished together at a .38c split. once our 8 weeks is up then we get the .48c split.

Thanks but so far I'm not liking it too much. I'm used to the fast paced go, go, GO...LOL. This reefer stuff is all hurry up and wait. This is only my third run so hopefully we will get in some sort of rhythm. Plus I have to keep an eye on everything 24/7 because the co-driver can't handle it.

Right now I'm in Auburn, WA waiting for this place to open up. We were dispatched for 1800 but got here around 1000. Sign says they are closed Sat and Sun. BOL says 0300 but I think they open at midnight so I'm hoping to get in then.

Then we pick up somewhere in the middle of WA and head to SC. Do they let us drop reefer loads at a yard? because they are giving us 5 days to get there. It only takes 2 days. In 5 days I can go coast to coast and back again...and then be heading back.

    Wedge Thanks this.
