I've completed my 140hrs of training and am scheduled to be in Dallas on 04/17 to get processed out and get my truck. I had no problems with either of my 2 trainers and have learned a lot from them both. I plan on continuing to learn everyday and have a positive attitude no matter what comes my way. If anyone is thinking of pursing a career with Werner and you have questions about Werner don't hesitate to ask. I don't know everything but I'll answer what I can about my experience as to date with Werner.

i will be running the eastern regional route for Werner. I graduate out of my 140hrs in 9 days. I should have been out this coming Friday but due to this Home Depot dedicated account we are on I am not getting much drive time. I can not wait to get out on my own I missed this the 3yrs i was out off the road.

Well I am finished with all my training and got my own truck Wednesday. It's not the truck I wanted but it will do. I got a Freightliner Cascadia it has just over 500,000 miles on it. Got my first load Thursday, I arrived to my first of 3 stores that night and started unloading Friday morning and was home by 9pm. Now I'm on hometime until Monday. All is going well and I'll try and post when I can, good or bad....

Congrats on getting the truck. With 500,000 miles on it you won't be in it for long.Werner usually gets rid of them around that mileage.I have several friends at Werner and one of them when his truck hit a little over 500,00 he had to go to Springfield and turn it in and got a new KW T660.Have another friend that is due to turn her truck in next week.Glad you are liking the DG it just wasn't for me.From talking to other drivers Ardmore is one of the better DCs to work out of.

Congratulations on getting qualified. Now you can say you finally arrived. There's going to be good and bad days, probably more bad then good. But stay here a good solid year because i'll tell ya right now, you're not going to find any better no matter how hard you look and where you go.

Well as I said in a past post I completed my hours with my trainer, got my own truck and have been busy. Today I looked at my pay and I was shocked to see I was paid $12.71 cents. I called payroll and asked what happen to the guarantee I was told I'd receive once I was on my on. They said it doesn't take effect until Ive been on my own for a full week.
