I am thinking about going to a company sponsored program with FFE Inc. (Frozen Food Express Industries, Inc.) Out of Dallas, TX. Anyone heard of? gone to? or have any advice on this company?

    Greetings,
I was told that some company sponcered schools dont give you a regular Class A CDL, but, that it is a lisence to drive with there company only. I'm new so I dont know. I was recruited by one from Utah so I checked into others in Tampa where I live. There is a good one here and they have lifetime job placement. Also I here that company sponcered training puts you in a contract to drive only for hte sponsering company and you have to pay them back for the training.

Really? I never heard that, I think that for your training you get like a permit and that is only for that training school, but once you get your CDL you can take that with you wherever you go. But I do know that if you leave early from training or before you work it off as a company driver you are responsible for repayment.

Any experienced drivers out here that can clear this up?
