I would love to have that old Pete to restore. It would be a great project for my father and I.

The correct response to the guy with no panties on is to say "That's okay, I have a pair of your wife's right here."

Ive been without for two years...seems I haven't missed much. I'd like to have one for road conditions and shipper/rec'r who still use them to assign a door.

    Wargames Thanks this.

I run at night mostly and I got a bear report that didn't help me much early Sunday morning, I couldn't help him much, either, but we did wish each other a safe trip.

First bear report in a long while, it happens more while I'm on on 2 lanes.

I hear plenty with a decent radio at distance, just not too many specifically directed at me.

I don't listen to that radio much when I'm in a city, either.

Ever since the inception of XM/SIRIUS Radio,I only turn mine on when I come up on stopped traffic on the hi-way.No offense to those who worry about such things, but,if you do the speed limit or a little less, the bear in the middle is just someone to wave at as you cruise by him.The coops,I have a 75% chance of getting a green light on my pre-pass,and there is that thing called a logbook, keep it current and only 7 previous days available, less to worry about. Also one other thing I learned from my current company I am "leased" on with,,,keep the dashboard clear of ALL possible clutter. Some states have DOT officers sitting there with binoculars, they know who they are going to pull before you make that arrow for lane indicator.
So,my CB doesn't get used like it used to also. The language on it is passed off as adult language, really??

I don't have enough to say to anyone to have an actual CB conversation. Besides, I have too much fun listening to my news-talk stations on my Sirius/XM satellite radio.

I finally used mine for the first time in months when I scaled at the Fargo, ND Petro. No call box on that one.

Not sure what the meaning is, but I often hear a dude whisper, "I don't have any panties on". In other words, you haven't missed much. I only have my on 20% of the time.
