The General is in NM now, heading to AZ to pick up (after the truck gets fixed) with a pick up between 5-9pm tomorrow, and a drop in Livonia MI by 2pm on Thursday!!

Got a load out of the drop yard I stayed at last night up to Elk Grove CA. So much for bankers hours, appt time at 4am. Sitting in front of 90 now so I don't have to start my clock in the morning. God knows I won't get a load here in CA any earlier then 8am.

Sent out to National Beef just North of the border down near el Centro CA yesterday. Prime says pickup is 4/30, shipper says 5/2. Took 3 hours for them to figure things out.

Put us on another load...

Pickup today in Vernon, CA. Those doing the math that's 160 miles from Ontario out to National Beef and 190 miles back to Vernon passing thru Ontario.

1500 appt. 5/1. Arrive at 1430. Shipper tells me my load is a regular load that always picks up on Wed (5/2).

Before I can get a message of to my FM I get an 01 appt change for 1500 tommorow. I'd like to take a pic of it and show that it arrived at 1455.

Trainee was supposed to be home in Arkansas tomorrow and we haven't even loaded yet after 2 days in CA.

I'll get my extra pay.. FM takes very good care of me. I'm not to pissed

 

Anybody else been stuck in Texas end of last week/this week? I sort of got stuck down here the end of last week and then ran a load down from Carthage, MO on Fri to La Porte that delv Mon AM. At 16:00 yesterday got offered a shuttle to Larado, then BT to Waco supposedly to load today. Finally just got dispatched out of Romark for tomorrow afternoon to Denver for Friday. Starting to feel like I got put on the "Don't Load List" (or the give him the crap loads list)Been WAY too much sitting between short mile loads. Ya they pay well per mile...but...
