I saw a lonestar truck in san antonio yesterday that was white with red signs and had straight pipes on it, it is a 379 pete truck number 4655... Whats the deal with that truck being different from all the rest?
-
Thats an O/O, Lone Star only has 262 company trucks, the other 400+ trucks are all O/O's.

just went over 10k miles today on the new truck. clutch is making loud noises now when I push it and release. Like it needs greased or something.
-
I had that happen once turned out to be a throw out bearing.
My truck sux,, now i have no raido and my bunk A/C is not working and its freakin hot!!!AZS Thanks this. -
figured I wouldnt get by with something as easy as grease.
you told your dispatcher about the lack of AC? its going to get stupid hot this summer and youre gonna need that to work.

I just got in the shop in sealy tx. My engine light came on today. They must have got this truck out of the bone yard or something seems like every few days something new goes wrong

how many miles on it? CR England decided to back his reefer into the side of my sleeper last night. thats always the way, old beat up ride never gets touched, brand new car, truck, whatever are magnets for damage. just put a few deep scratches in it and dented one spot a little.

Those are easy to miss if you don't know where to look for the grease fitting. A lot of transmissions have a cover that needs to be removed to access the grease fitting, and then sometimes the clutch needs to be pressed in order to get to it. Other times, an extension hose is used so that you can grease the throwout bearing without removing the cover or having to press the clutch...but occasionally holes wear in that hose if it isn't routed properly around the moving parts and the grease doesn't get to where it is supposed to go.The Challenger Thanks this.
