And for a new guy here, I am very quickly feeling stupid. But then again, I was never accused of being overly smart. Still friendly though.

Stupid? Not hardly. Anyone that can see a mistake and own up to it is very smart in my book. I applaude you my friend!

Look at the SAFER reportd Johnboy and the report as a whole. Looks like the drivers that were in it failed to do their job in filling out log books and their documentation. Also speeding is not controlled by anybody but us drivers! We as Professional Drivers drive those scores!
So when we get caught speeding, not wearing a seat belt or just plain can't fill out our duty status or correctly fill out the log book WE hurt everybody!

    housecat Thanks this.

Yes. It isn't something that is required by my or any other company. In fact, the account is in my name and billed to my credit card every month. I always wondered what company does pay for it for their drivers.

I did look at it. You know as well as I do that when push comes to shove they look at the score as a whole and everyone gets penalized. I saw what some of the violations are, seat belt, log book, inspections. Unfortunately when something happens the bottom line is what the score is, not what's in the score.
