My 1st truck was a R model Mack 237, 6 speed lo hole trans. It had that light olive color interior . Any idea what year those interiors were?
-
I had one of those - except with a 5 speed. Best I recall, it was a '67 model.

Transam pete- Secondi Bros.- Milford Ct. on 95- right next to the Mayflower Diner. You're right, it was a pit. When Gulf was in the truck stop business, I used to like those- (Ashland Truck Terminal, Ashland VA and there used to be one in Eastern PA on 22 right by the Water Gap. Always clean. And who could forget the Rt. 46 Diner at the end of the Jersey Turnpike (no express lanes to the GWB then.) Great place to stop before chugging up the Fort Lee Hill.
And Cat sdp: I graduated from the U Model to a White Road Boss- White's answer to the Maxidyne. R model rode much smoother than the U Model. -
R MODEL came out late 65 / early 66 in large quanities. Early models had the typical GREEN interiors same as B models. First 1 I recall with the beige was a 70's model
