Nope, 1980 to 1995 I drove for CR England. From 1995 to 2009 I drove for a small business owner with 5 trucks hauling cars all over the country. I got tired of loading cars up in January in Chicago and August in Arizona. While hauling cars during those years I was able to start my own car business and finally sold it right before the credit crisis hit in '09 to the biggest Chevy dealer here for what I call mine and my wife's sizable retirement account. You see, some of us don't need a union job to be successful at what we do, I knew at a very early age that I wanted to be good at what I do, and to be financially secure when my working days are over. I have accomplished both those things. And I might add, at 56 years old I can honestly say I can count on one hand how much more I want to work.

I agreed on that sir with you 101% !! drivers the only responsible of that log book ,speeding ,not wearing seat belt.. and i saw the vehicle maintenance score which is 29.2 % which is again that's nothing bad score when you owned 116 trucks.. I always said this ..Americans want to see things on paper not the facts and they blamed the company..thats what i am saying...

Johnboy: Good for you. I'm probably going out feet first, but I enjoy what I do. My middle son just started with CRE in January, and so far he loves it. I am guessing they like him because he doesn't whine about home time. I started a new thread in the Welcome Wagon about the trucks I was brought up on. I'd be interested in comparing notes.

There is a new invention called a telephone. It's really cool. You push a bunch of numbers and you can actually talk to someone else.
