Yeah the elogs aren't so bad but there are a few tricks to them. Especially with the setup these guys use. Should you decide to come over here let me know I will give you a few pointers on making it all work.![]()

I usually log at 65 or sometimes 62 or 63, thats being a company driver in in 70 mph truck. I also usually drove a lot more than that in miles, sometimes 750-800 miles per day every now and then a little more, so I had to get very creative with my logs. It usually hurt my next day because I had to add some of those miles to start the next day before I even moved. Dang it's gonna be nice to be able to run legal for a change and still make a good living.

Yeah it's nice. Although I have to say I had a new experience today. Rarely have I ever had more then a pat on the back for pulling off a next to impossible load but today I got a bit more then that. I had a load that came out of the shipper late and would have put me here an hour late but with a little extra speed and use of some fancy logging I made it right on time. I still kept my MPG's above 8 since it was only 11k in the box. But when I sent my empty call I immediately got a call from the load planner saying thanks for pulling it off (on a weekend at that I've never worked for a company that had planners on weekends). And to go with that I got my choice of loads from everything they had in the area. Usually you only get 3 choices he read me every single load they had even the ones that were further out then normally you would get offered. So in the end I chose a heavier load that I can T-call at our yard and get it in on this paycheck. I usually don't run so hard but it looks like if all goes as planned I will have a 3300 mile week. Will have to take it easy next week though. I'm a lazy sob and this week kicked my butt. So preferably back to my 2400-2600 miles max. lol

I would love to run 2900-3300 mile weeks.
Lately I have been between 2600 to 2900 miles for most weeks. I ran 3400 last week though and this week is setting up to be the same about that. -
That's cool and 3300 miles to top it off. 2400-2600 is a good all around avg to me to. When I was running as hard as I used to, it took it's toll for sure. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind running hard but 715 miles logging at 65 mph in 11 hours is plenty lol

what is your truck set to if the company trucks are set at 65?
-
My truck is governed at 75 which is what KW wants it set at. Anything higher voids the warranty.MNdriver Thanks this.

nice to have it. But don't mean you need to use it.

Oh I don't drive for ACT yet. The 70 mph speed is at the co. I just left.

I read that wrong lol
