I am on the road training, day 4.
My trainer keeps telling me I am going to have to get used to going to the bathroom outside..she does, and I will NOT do it.

She runs hard and does not like to stop. I told her if she is not going to stop then I need to bail.
She also only stops once a day to eat?? She lives on junk food!

Is this how it is going to be? If so I guess I need to rethink this.

My Dad drove for 50 plus years and said she is pulling a bunch of BS on me..

    Help!

I'd start requesting a new trainer on grounds of irreconcilable differences. This is normal for a handful of solo operators but should not be the case for a "professional" trainer.

    LOL at you.

No, its not how it should be. Dont hold it for anybody, youll damage your body in the long term.

Plenty of rest areas on the Interstates that take just moments out of her precious day. My guess, your trainer has a big ego.

A bit of advice, go easy on drinking pop. That will make you pee a lot more than just drinking water.

Hang in there, you can do it.

Grapes. You don't get thirsty, and you don't have to pee.

Oh, and if it's your driving shift, you can stop whenever and wherever you want to. Take the keys and the truck registration if you get out so she's less likely to leave you there. Tell her to call her FM if she doesn't like it. :)

I'm a guy and I dont have to pee outside (and it's a lot easier for us). Don't take that crap. If you can't work out per breaks with your trainer it's time to call in and request a new one. Let them know why too.

She's being an idiot. If I gotta piss, I'm gonna stop. If I wanna eat, I'm gonna stop. If I need to wash my sweaty ###, I'm gonna stop. And I'll still make it on time. Driving like that is senseless in my humble opinion. If your company gives you loads THAT hot, I wouldn't work there. I'd get a new trainer. Contact the FM first. If you bail before talking to the company, they'll likely chalk you up as a quit.

I take it you missed the fact that she's a woman. It's not exactly easy for her to use a 2 liter. Secondly, why? Go use a freakin bathroom. It's not that #### bad out here.

No, it is NOT the way it should be. Just try your best to put up with it until you can either get another trainer or you're done with her.

Then when you get your own truck?? do as you need to do and wish to do.

Hang in there, this is a part of "paying your dues".
