I know how that goes...can't do that on e-logs though. As long as the planning is good and you don't keep getting these places that don't care if you wait for several hours to load or unload, it doesn't bother me. Frankly, something legally needs to be done about shippers and consignees like that. If they make an appointment and can't load or unload you within two hours, they shouldn't have made that appointment. Either whoever is taking the appointments or the warehouse people need a fire lit under their cans. Hire more workers, teach them how to count, give them drug tests, etc.
Are you coming to work at ACT also? -
Yes to become a L/O
-
Good deal! I'll most likely see you next Sunday or Monday. Marsha said to call her back tomorrow to get the 411.

Good deal. Thats who I've been talking to as well, she is super nice.

Keep us updated... I'm interested in what trucks you guys get and what motors... I'm sure they'll be 660's, but maybe 680's?
-
Will do..Most likely will be 660's..I think the 680's will be on the company side, but would nice
-
So far there are only two 680's that I know of and they areboth company. One is the driver of the year and the other is the runner up.
-
how does the contract read if you decide to leave the lease early?
Say after 12 or 18 months? -
You are held liable for the payments until the truck is re-leased to the next driver. They will wait to lease the truck back out untill your escrow and maintenance accounts have been depleted, believe me, I just went thru this when I turned in my truck with ACT. Just my .02
