well, i will say one thing on the subject. being a professional, you are suppose to realize that "things" can and usually will happen. sometimes you can avoid them by taking an alternate route, sometimes you just get stuck.
it is your responsibility as a professional driver to plan your route and timing accordingly so you can adjust your schedule as needed.

I've got it in my mindset, so far without the solo experience, to plan on driving 9-9:30 hours a day. That way you have plenty of time to find somewhere to stop without any issues.
PowerOfSolitude Thanks this. -

Im not a professional anything. My doctor is a professional, the lawyer I used a while back. Now he was a professional. I tend to shy away from that word...

Lol, Gizmo, you are on my arse today aren't ya!? is this going to be a love/hate relationship? But the reason why i said about the 9-9 1/2 hours is the exact reason Scuby said. So I don't run out of hours. Explain how your thought process is different, if you don't mind please. Not trying to call you out on it, just trying to hear another opinion. The more opinions I get, the better I'm able to figure out what works for me. Thanks in advance.

Gizmo is a very smart driver/trainer. He tells it like it is! I would adhere any advise he throws your way!
Once you have some experience you will learn that a lot of times you are going to have to push the limit. Just in one week, that will really add up! 14 hours is roughly 900 miles! That's a lot of $$$ you will miss out on and your DM will have a fit!
