lease/own

Good evening friends,
I,d like to introduce myself; my name is Tom Luichinger. I grew up in Virginia, but I met my wife in northern Georgia, and have spent the last 22 years in Minnesota. I've had 2 false starts in trucking (1992, 2007), but I've been driving continous since 2009, and I enjoy it. am doing line haul/local these days, but would like to lease/own my own truck, and go back otr. does anyone have any sudgestions/recomendations as to who would be good to sign up with, and what a good deal looks like? am looking at a company in central minnesota that will lease older model columbia's (2006, 600k; I dont mind starting out with an older truck as long as its well maintained) at 350.oo per week over 3 years. They pay .92 a mile with 2500 in an escrow account for repairs.

Apreciate that jerrytdd,
when you talk about being in control of the money, are you saying lease independantly as opposed to company lease if at all?
