Actually got home on time for a change. Unloaded in new holland, went to spruce creek, unloaded in winston salem, deadheaded to montezuma, sat for a day, got a load out of leesburg going to dothan al the day before my hometime started. Called angel and asked what the deal was, told me to deadhead to winter haven after i got empty. Got to montezuma wednesday night there were 4 or 5 other trucks sitting there. Never seen that many there before. Don't think I've ever seen more than 2. Still don't know what was up with that

To the a-hole who dropped 8083 in leesburg either friday morning or thursday night and took off the nut and bolt on the crank arm which lowers and raises the driver's side leg of the landing gear...and i know you took them off because you couldnt have gotten the leg down without them and there were no broken pieces found anywhere....i hope your death is lonely and painful

Ahhh little grasshopper.... always carry extra bolts or at least a long shaft screwdriver to use in these types of emergencies!!!)

Ok, seriously though, that sucks that anyone would take a freaking bolt out of the landing gear....

    Yep always be prepared.

Maybe the guy picked it up that way and it was his nut and bolt to start with. If that is the case he had every right to take it with him to be ready for the next time.

i do the same with lights on the trailer.. they only give us a few spares and when i run low i refuse to leave my last one on a trailer i'm about to drop, so i take it off put the bad one back on and leave a note in the pigtail socket.

Someone picks up them trailers and goes and loads then brings em back and drops em if it was broke when it was dropped I'm sure the loader wouldent of loaded it.

yard jockeys crank up landing gears now? the ones i always see just lift the nose of the trailer in the air and roll with it.
