CRETE - A Year in Review

Hello, they call me Captain Zoom (probably because I used to run 55-60mph everywhere)

I put in an app last week, looking to hear back today or tomorrow, hopefully start next orientation in Knoxville. Been out of the biz for around 6 months...Crete looked about as good as it gets for Company (I used to lease). Stay tuned!

 

Got a call this afternoon to verify some of the stuff on my app; was told it was going to Safety today. Hopefully will hear tomorrow. This is my first choice--buncha research went into it. Wheeee...

 

I spent nearly a year researching my choice, off and on. So far, at least money-wise, it hasn't been a disappointment.

Hometime and getting it when asked for (or required as the situation dictates) is yet to be fully determined.

I went to orientation in Knoxville 2 weeks ago, I reccomend the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, good luck captain!

Yeah, my daughter put her Pikachu (Pokemon) hat on my head and grabbed a pic for her FB page--and the #%&! cat decided to pick right then to jump on my head...the face was a reaction to the cat (I had a stupid grin). We thought the pic was so funny we left it as is. I'm more of a dog guy myself.

 

Been trying to call Isaac @ recruiting to check the status of my app, haven't been able to get him to answer his phone in 3 days. Hope this isn't a bad omen...

 

It takes a few days, don't get nervous yet. They are thorough. Good Luck, been w/ Crete 3 1/2 years and don't regret it.

 

Just passed the 5 yr mark myself and still feeling good about it
