If I were to go W11, what are the typical weeks out before it'd be cool to go home, vs 48, same thing weeks out until I can get home.
I've avoided asking this question for a few weeks now, felt that if I did I would be told not to get into trucking. I'd prefer to go 48, but be out like 2 1/2 to 3 weeks then come home and see my 4 babies and wife. Just curious, take it easy on me please lol
How does the home time work?

2 Weeks out for 11 western, 3 Weeks out for 48
You request the days -
Thank you kindly sir for the quick response. My wife and I were having a small debate, weighing the pros and cons of w11 vs 48, in that was miles and home time expectations. I started in brooks today, so far awesome company. Only reason it came up is we have a disabled daughter who she is caring for 24/7, she's gonna need a break sometime. She wants me to go local but cannot or won't grasp the fact that its near impossible to get a job like that right out of the gate. New career for me as well, I was a police officer for 10 years and was laid off. So the unknown is scaring the hell out of us. But I gotta make the paper lol

Agreed .. When I was Company side, I stayed out 3 weeks and went home 3/4 days.

Pretty much mandatory 3 weeks out or is that recommended time out? and what are you doing now lease or o/o?
-
"mandatory" is kinda a strong word .. but its pretty general-ish. Remember.. after ya been with May a little while... ya have more leverage, ya know.
I am Owner/Op -

Welcome.. I live here too ...
Try 11 Western, since yer always going thru Brooks... Many times ya park there and go home for the night and then go back to the truck in the morning and continue yer run ... That woulnt happen if yer on the 48.
