i think as far as going 48, you'd definitely want to expect 3 weeks. like if they gave ya a run from the west coast out east, most likely you wouldn't make it back to the west coast in a week

If it helps to make up your mind, check out the threads 11 western miles and 48 miles. I have posted honest factual numbers on the 11 western side, and justawheelholderfornow has posted some honest numbers for 48 side. Take the monthly numbers and run them at .30 cents a mile. Once you know what you would be making that monthy on average that will help you your decision on what fleet. Pick your fleet on what works best for you in supporting your family. If financially 11 western won't pay the bills, then home time would need to suffer. Of course you can always let the bills suffer, but that just leads to a bunch of other problems.
